Meet Ms. Cook

Greetings Parents, Family Members and Students!
My name is Ms. B. Cook and I will be serving as your child's fourth grade teacher. My mission is to serve and it is a pleasure to serve you this school year. This is my seventh year teaching and my fourth year at West End Academy. Making learning fun and engaging for my students has always been my passion. I love using technology, movement, and hands-on experiences to teach. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught grades 3, 4, and 5. So, my experience and specialty is in upper elementary.

I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Alabama A&M University in May 2009. I also hold a master's degree from The University of West Alabama in Elementary Education. I completed my master's degree in December 2015. Additionally, I completed my administration certification from The University of West Alabama in August 2017.

I am a leader and I enjoy leading teams to greatness. I'm also very ambitious and driven and I hope to pass that trait on to all of my students. Our 44th President, Barack Obama stated, "Your zip code should not determine your destiny." I'm a firm believer in this quote. Where we come from doesn't define where we're going and who we'll become. I'm a firm believer that everyone is capable of reaching his or her highest potential and achieving remarkable things. Determination, ambition, and faith push us into destiny. I believe that all things are possible if you're willing to put in the hard work and dedication!

If you have any questions, concerns, or if you'd like to meet with me, please don't hesitate to email me! I'm always willing to help and serve you.

Educationally yours,

Brandis M. Cook
